Boise, ID

Boise Airport (BOI) was opened in 1926, and like many airports of the day, hosted Charles Lindbergh and the Spirit of St. Louis at one time. Today, the airport is used for general aviation, commercial traffic, the Idaho National Guard, and as a staging area for US Forest Service logistics during fire season. BOI recently underwent an expansion; the project was completed in 2005.
